The Diamond Lacrosse Showcase for male lacrosse players will be held at St. Paul's School in Baltimore, MD on November 19-20, 2011. It will feature 120 of the top male high school players in the country from the Classes of 2013 (juniors) and 2014 (sophomores).
This year there will also be spots available for uncommitted seniors (Class of 2012), These spots will be filled on a first come basis. These players do not need to be nominated by a coach. Uncommitted seniors should download a registration form and mail it to us. Click HERE to download an Uncommitted Senior Registration Form.
Players will be showcased to the top college lacrosse coaches in the nation. Admittance is by invitation only. Players may be nominated by their high school or club coach. All applicants will be reviewed by the Diamond Showcase selection committee. A limited number of players at each position will be invited to participate in this event.
Coaches from many top colleges will be in attendance. A list of coaches that attended last year's event can be found below.
Players will participate in instructional sessions led by College Coaches. They will learn from the coaches and find out what is expected of them at the college level.
Players and parents will be invited to attend informational sessions throughout the weekend to help guide players through the entire recruiting process. These sessions will be led by college coaches, top high school coaches and representatives from LacrosseRecruits.com.
Players will participate in game like lacrosse drills. These drills will be run by current coaches and players. Players will not be scored in these events but college coaches will be invited to watch and perform their own evaluations.
Players will also compete in five full field games. Games will be played on turf fields. Games will be coached by high school coaches. The goal will be to achieve equal playing time for players at each position. No scores will be kept. The entire purpose of the games will be to compete in front of the college coaches against the top high school players in the nation.
All Aloha Tournament venues are smoke free and pet free events. Please be respectful of others.Professional Filming Available at Warrior Diamond Lacrosse Showcase
LacrosseRecruits.com, endorsed by US Lacrosse as The Official Recruiting Tool of US Lacrosse, will be onsite at the Diamond Lacrosse Showcase. They have designed a number of Recruiting Packages for those players in attendance.
All games will be filmed by professionals and those games can either be purchased on their own or as part of a more comprehensive Recruiting Package. Members of LacrosseRecruits.com will have access to every college coach in the country. The LacrosseRecruits.com team can also produce great highlight reels using this video and any other video you may have access to. You can view a few hundred highlights here:
