Welcome to the fifth annual Beach Lax Festival. This is a competitive lacrosse tournament for boys lacrosse teams ages 7-14. There will be A and B divisions for 7/8, 9/10, 11/12 and 13/14. (See Team & Coach Information for age group breakdown.) Rules and referees will be the same as used in the Maryland Youth Lacrosse Association (http://mylalax.com) unless otherwise noted. All divisions will play 10 man lacrosse with the exception of the 7/8 B division which will play with seven players to a side.
The Beach Lax Festival will be held at North Worcester Sports Complex, Most Blessed Sacrament School, Stephen Decataur High School and Berlin Intermediate School - all in or near Berlin, MD. This is a ten minute drive from Ocean City, MD. There will be a LaxZone at the fields with vendors, food, music and other great stuff at the North Worcester Sports Complex.

By submitting a registration form for a team each coach acknowledges that he/she has read, understands and will adhere to the rules of play and eligibility requirements for the Beach Lax Festival.

Registration fee includes all referee fees, 3 scheduled games, 18 Warrior Beach Lax Festival 2009 T- Shirts (t-shirts for additional players and coaches may be purchased at the tournament), and trophies for championship and runner-up teams (20 per team).
All players/parents will be required to complete a Waiver of Liability/Medical Release form. These should be turned in at the Registration tent, as a team, prior to the team's first game.

No teams will be scheduled without the registration fee paid. The tournament will fill quickly so please register early.
NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER MAY 8, 2010.
All teams should register for the most appropriate division based on their skill level. The goal for each team should be to enjoy a competitive tournament, not to be dominant in a weaker division.
All teams must submit a roster on the team roster form to info@beachlaxfestival.com. The roster must include player’s name, jersey number, phone, complete address and date of birth. Rosters must be received by May 8, 2010. If complete roster is not received by May 8, 2010 the team may forfeit its spot in the tournament and have it registration returned.
INFORMATION REGARDING THE 2010 RULE CHANGES TO HEADS
On January 1, 2010, a new rule which applies to lacrosse head dimensions will go into effect for all men's games officiated under NCAA rules. The rule affect NCAA teams and select high school teams.
