SCHEDULING

Beach Lax Festival schedules are now posted.  If you don't see your team's division please hit the "refresh" button on your computer  This will allow the pages to appear.

Each team should be scheduled to play three games against three different teams at three different times.  Each team should play every team in its division (Red, Yellow, Blue, etc.) one time.  If you find an error on your schedule please contact us at info@beachlaxfestival.com.  PLease let us knoe the division, age group, round and both teams. 

Please check schedules again as the tournament approaches.  Schedules may change as the tournament nears.

SCORING

    1. Points will be awarded after each game: 5 points for a win, 2 points for a tie and 0 point for a loss.
    2. In the event of inclement weather and cancellation of games, each canceled game will be scored as a 4-2 WIN for BOTH teams.  No attempts will be made to reschedule canceled games.
    3. Ties will be broken in the following manner and sequence:
    • Head to head play
    • Most wins
    • Fewest goals allowed
    • Total point differential in first three games (not to exceed +3 or -3 in any game)
    • Coin toss (team coming second in the alphabet will call the toss)
    • All ties in playoff games will be decided immediately by a sudden victory period.
    Scorecards will be held by the referees for each game.  At the end of the game the referee will record the official score and sign it.  The scorecards will be turned in by the referee at the registration tent at North Worcester Sports Complex.  A scoreboard will be located at the registration tent and scores will be updated as they are received.
